Great location in historic Chesapeake City. Drove down from northern Delaware to check out this location and it was an absolutely lovely time. First, the view and location is great, with the water right there and the little town nearby would make for a great date night. Service was great all night and the waiters were super helpful with the menu. The food was super fresh and tasted great, I loved both the oysters and the salmon I had. The salmon in particular was nice and sweet, but not overpowering and had the rich bourbon flavor. I would 110% recommend everyone come and try this place, you will not regret it.

Nice restaurant with great views of the canal. The rest is all glass to give unobstructed views. Food and service are excellent. Large outdoor seating area when the weather is nice. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Okay I used to be iffy about this place but the cauliflower crust pizza has me running back. They have a huge menu here with something for everyone. As well as a very full bar. I would say the mixed drinks are fine and the prices are beach prices. But I'm not kidding when even a friend goes here I ask them to bring me a pizza. I'm gluten free so the cauliflower crust is GAME changing.

Late Post The food here is always DELICIOUS! Service is also EXCEPTIONAL! Very attentive, friendly, and professional. Dining upstairs gives it an upscale dining experience without breaking the bank. They have ZE BEST crab cakes ever! 20/10 Fresh and filling. A DEFINITE MUST HAVE! My boyfriend ordered the duck and OH MY HOLY GRACIOUS & MIGHTY FATHER... it was DELIGHTFUL! Tender on the inside but crispy on the outside. Juicy but not gamey. It's been months and I could still taste it. The appetizers are also pretty darn good, including the warm bread and whipped butter. Yum! When my server asked me how my food was, the only way to describe it was my eyes were rolling to the back of my head. Hope that sums it up! If you're ever craving for fresh seafood that'll never disappoint, this is the place to go.

Location.. location.. location...it goes to show, once again, that Location is everything! The outdoor patio/deck at Chesapeake Restaurant was packed on a recent Sunday. Clear blue skies, fresh air, and nice views made this a prime dining spot for a late afternoon lunch. I'm upping my rating by a star, because our food was substantially better than my prior visit several years ago. We ordered a number of things including Fish Tacos, Fish and Chips, Tuna Poke Bowl, Bohemia (sushi), Pork pot stickers and Pear and Chicken Salad. The fish and Chips were heads and tails better than before. Everything was great. We just didn't care for the pear and chicken salad. It's probably a preference thing, but the combination didn't go together very well. With the limited dining options in this area, especially ones with a view, I'm sure I'll be back again. Now that the food has improved it makes more of an enticement to eat here again.

My second time back this time with my wife and again 100% on all accounts instant to welcoming by our great server Justin to the beautifully plated food which tasted oh so incredible and offer a fair value in a beautiful location. We sat out alongside the marina with our dog, enjoying the final break of the heat started off with spicy margarita to settle in as we waited on our nachos with chicken nice way to start a late lunch early dinner . My wife had a drunken clams which she absolutely loved and I had the tuna poke salad for my second visit again because for me that's gonna be a go to dish. It was hot as heck out and this is a great chill meal.

At the Chesapeake Inn Restaurant, we consistently find the quality of our meals is matched with excellent delivery. Of all the local seafood restaurants that serve Crab Bisque, only this one deserves five stars. The culinary staff know not only how to prepare it well, but they also serve their great tasting soup at the correct temperature. On any given day the menu here features a variety of Naked Fish which can be prepared to a guest's liking. Different sauces are also available. I highly suggest the Blackened Halibut with Lemon Sauce. Besides all of the above, this is a beautiful place to dine. The nautical decor sets the stage for the view through the windows to the water.

We love the Chesapeake Inn while boating on the C&D Canal. Ryan is excellent at helping us park our boat for a dock and dine. Service is always excellent and the views are very nice. We highly recommend the crab cakes.

I just wanted a crab cake. That other stuff was good too. It wants me to type more. Lots of managers walking around. Service was abundant
